It's great to hear the bells of this wonderful church. I wonder if they still toll of a Sunday. A while ago I attended a celebration of the renovation of St. James's unique pipe organ. Wonderful. Is there a video of that in action? As a former art teacher at St. Michael's (essentially retired) I used regularly to take my classes to the church yard to sketch during fine weather. Such a pity the church has been crowded in and obscured with new build. Now part-time at a St. George's Maida Vale I always look out from my train to London Bridge as we pass St. James?s Church. Its distinctive golden dragon topped spire still manages to poke above the architectural dross that surrounds the church.
