To Antonella. Many thanks for your tip, I shall try and pay the Picture Library a visit. I presume the Library is housed in the old Grabary at the back of St. Mary's church.
To old friend Pete Gibbo, thanks again for further clues on Albion Street School.
To duckman, are you related in any way to Leslie Duckman who used to live in Adams Garden Estate?

I was a pupil there from 1943 until 1950 when I left to go to secondary school I am 72 now and cannot ever remember going there and that is the truth.

At the Rotherhithe Picture Research Library there are a few pictures of the school and the street, in Rhotherhithe collection. Here's the link http://www.sandsfilms.co.uk/, the library is part of the Sands Film.

Hi,
There is a plan of your old school, I don't know if it includes photos, held by the London Metropolitan Archives - National Archives (Kew) Ref: LCC/AR/sch/117.
Also it's worth checking out the LMAs Education Officers Dept divisional office (Division 7?) who kept records of the old schools.
You never know...
