An unusual film here but a great look into the docks of the time. I have put this on because there are some great shots of bermondsey here and I know there are places that are not related to this site but it is a wonder to see colour from the 30's

An evocative old cine view of 'the Bermondsey River'. I particularly liked scenes of Tower Bridge swathed in smoke from the chugging stacks of coal fired boats. That?s how it was then. And, if it was hard?the cough! cough! coughing! had eucalyptus rubbed on its chest of a night? Conversion to digital could have been better. The jerky pixilations need sorting.
