 * Jonathan Hutchinson (1828 -1913) first described the symptoms associated with what was to be known as sarcoidosis, in 1869  at King's College  Hospital,Denmark Hill,  SE5 (where SILA now holds support meetings) to this day nobody knows how this disease is acquired and there is no known medical cure. It affects all races and all ages.
